Phalba's Story

Meet Phalba, a 2-year-old orange tabby queen with a personality as bright and bold as her beautiful coat.

Phalba is the perfect mix of affectionate and entertaining. She loves being pet and will happily soak up attention, especially if there’s a snack involved. This girl is very food motivated and not shy about it! She’s also talkative, curious, and always interested in what her people are up to, making her a fun and engaging companion.

Phalba gets along well with other cats, though she does like to keep things on her terms. Think confident, a little bossy, and curious. She has no problem fitting into a multi-cat home, as long as everyone respects her role as the star of the show.

As a kitten, Phalba lived outdoors until she was injured and rescued by kind Good Samaritans. Since then, she has made a full recovery and transitioned beautifully into indoor life. She warms up quickly in new environments and carries herself with confidence wherever she goes. She's litter box trained and knows how to use "robot" litter boxes.

Phalba can coexist peacefully with dogs, but she definitely knows how to stand her ground. If a dog gets a little too close for comfort, she’s not afraid to give a warning paw and set clear boundaries. It’s all part of her charm.

She loves toys, enjoys cuddles, and brings the best of both worlds—playful energy and sweet companionship. Phalba is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV negative, and she’s ready to find a home that appreciates her big personality and loving nature.

Could Phalba be the feline your home is missing? Apply to adopt Phalba at CRAPrescue.org/application.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet/the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Phalba's adoption fee is $150, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.

Code Red Animal Project Inc.'s Adoption Policy
All of our adoptions are foster-to-adopt, giving adopters the opportunity to have a trial period. We firmly believe that it is impossible to know if a pet will be a good fit for your home based on a brief encounter. A trial period allows you to see the pet in your home as they decompress and find comfort, and introduce them to different situations and settings that are important in your life. Prior to finalizing adoption, we ask that the pet be seen by your vet so that your trusted veterinary team can assess the animal's health, note vaccination records, and prescribe 6-12 months of heartworm prevention (for dogs).
