Pewter's Story
Pewter was rescued from the streets of Minneapolis, along with her mother and brother, by a very kind woman. Although she was only 7 weeks old at the time she had already developed a strong fear of people. After more than a year, Pewter has made good progress. She follows her foster mom and very loudly demands to be pet. Pewter is fine with the other cats in the household but still very afraid of the dogs. She will do everything possible to avoid being picked up and is still afraid of anyone other than foster mom. A single person home without a lot of visitors would be best for Pewter. Being placed with her mother, Wren, may help her feel safer and more comfortable faster. Pewter will definitely need someone that gives her the time and space she needs to know that she is safe. Please do the application at https://www.homewardboundrescue.com/application/cat
