Pewter's Story

Pewter is a young adult and is fine with other cats and dogs... He is bonded with his brother Sabre and we would love for them to go to a home together. He likes to be near other cats but does his own thing! He was brought into rescue at 3 months old (with his brother Sabre and sister Daisy) when his mother was killed. Pewter is fully vetted and ready to adopt to the right family. While he is sweet and affectionate with his foster family, he is painfully shy with new people and situations so he needs a quiet very patient understanding person that will work with him to come around. A calmer household would be best. Together Furever Animal Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

We require all adopters to fill out an application. We will do an interview on the phone, answer any questions you may have, check references and do a home visit either virtually or in person. Since we highly value and respect our foster's time, an approved application is required before meet. Once application is approved adopter will be able to speak to the foster parent of a pet they are interested in. They can then schedule a visit that is convenient to both adopter and foster to meet. When a match is found and at the time of adoption, adoption fee is paid and you can take your new family member home!
