Petunia - Adoption fee waived - 3 years in foster care's Story
Petunia has been in foster care since March 1, 2023. We don't understand why she has been waiting nearly 3 years for her forever home! In an effort to find her purrfect home, her adoption fee is waived!

Petunia is estimated to be about 6-7 years old but that's not slowing her down. She is very playful and enjoys string toys and lasers. She is also a cuddle bug. Her foster often gets "stuck" because Petunia won't get off of her lap. She loves belly rubs and purrs very loudly and even drools a little when she is really happy.

Petunia isn't a huge fan of other cats/dogs but she does co-exist well. Her foster home has four other cats and two dogs. Petunia is usually the one who gets bullied by the others, unfortunately. But she does not start fights!

This sweetheart does have minor medical concerns. She has inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and needs a prescription Purina EN food for life. On intake, she had severe dental disease (grade 4) but last year, she received a full dental and had seven extractions. No further action is needed. She only eats wet food, likely because her teeth hurt so badly for so long. In addition to IBD, she is developing a strange film over one of her eyes. The vet said she doesn't appear to be in pain/having a hard time seeing, but we are working on getting her in with a specialist to confirm what's going on. We will cover any medical expenses related to this.

If you are looking for a devoted, cuddly, opinionated cat to share your space... and your couch, Petunia is the one for you.

Adopt:
https://form.jotform.com/rightmeowrescue/adoption-application
