Petunia's Story

Petunia was surrendered with her housemate Blue because their owners felt they no longer had time for them due to frequent travel plans. They were adopted as kittens and came back to us at the age of 9 years old.

It has taken both of them time to adjust to being in a new environment around other cats. It is always harder on the older cats when they lose the only home they have ever known.

Petunia is a sweet cat, but still mostly keeps to herself. She is depressed at the sudden lifestyle change. She is in our "quiet" room that does not have as many cats in it to help her feel more comfortable. You can pet Petunia and she likes it, but she likes to stay in her cat cave. We are hoping that once she is in a home again, she will be more relaxed.

Petunia is a gorgeous fluffy girl that weghs a little over 10 pounds. She does well around other cats as long as they don't try to get in her personal space. She has lived 9 years with Blue but does not seem particularly bonded to her and would do well as an only cat or with other independant cats.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $85 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.

If you are interested in this pet, please fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://bit.ly/3HN4Tqq

Visit our website at www.PetPlacementCenter.com
