Petra is a shorthaired Calico female born March 5, 2025. She is a sweet, playful young cat who takes a little time to trust new people. Petra came to us from a feral colony in the Mount Sterling area after a kind caretaker noticed she had been injured and brought her to safety. Since then, she has recovered beautifully and has blossomed into an affectionate, gentle companion. She loves to play, gets along wonderfully with other cats, and is especially gentle and patient with kittens. Petra can be a little chatty when she wants something and does well with other cats, dogs, older people, children, and teens. Petra previously suffered multiple pelvic fractures. Her veterinarian determined that surgery was not necessary, and she has healed well. She lives a normal, active life, though she may be more prone to developing arthritis as she gets older.
