He wasn’t fixed but was healthy, super sweet, adorable, and we knew he would make a great indoor kitty. Because the Good Samaritan’s wife is allergic, they were unable to keep him so he went into foster care and got the vet care he needed.<br/><br/>Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Petey the Panther Kitty is VERY special. He’s sweet, loves to be held like a baby, cuddled, petted and purrs quietly. He has the cutest ears, copper-colored eyes and loves chasing toys and fling a strings. He also loves cuddling and sleeping near legs and heads. He plays well with other cats too, making him the purrfect companion to another playful kitty or his human. Note: He may be shy with new people and in new environments at first but he adjusts quickly and can’t hide his sweet, loving and playful personality for long. <br/><br/>Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): Some food and a favorite toy to smooth the transition.<br/><br/>What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet: Petey loves wet food but we give him some dry kitten food as well.<br/><br/>:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).<br/><br/>For more info on the importance of wet food, please go to: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood<br/><br/>IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT:<br/>Please contact us at the number above or below for the adoption application. <br/><br/>Upon approval: <br/>1) Please come with a cat carrier<br/>2) Small adoption fee of:$50.<br/>3) We will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well<br/>4) Please come to pick up with your Driver's License.<br/>5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine)<br/>6) Remember this could be a 20 year commitment so please allow time for any new pet to adjust to you, your family and a new environment. <br/><br/>*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this.
