Petey's Story

Petey lived at our feed station all winter long (till recently )finding shelter in a styrofoam cooler and straw. He came to us heavily matted and flea infested seeking refuge from a life he never asked for. We have cleaned him all up, surrounded him in love, and provided thorough veterinary care by a reputable vet. He is FELV/FIV negative. Vaccinated. He additionally has had blood work to assure good health, a fecal test, and bartonella testing. He is microchipped. He would be lost without another cat. He is reactive and scared of loud large breed hyper dogs. He would do best in a home without small children. He is an independent cat who enjoys life's simple things like a warm comfy bed and full tummy. He is not much of a lap cat but enjoys pets. He takes a little time to adjust/trust his new surroundings. He prefers a understanding patient kind adopter.

We are looking for a stable responsible and loving per parent or family to shower him in everything he has always deserved.
