Petey's Story

This little dude is all love and cuteness. Petey was in an outdoor colony and was going to be a TNR kitty. However, Petey's bloodwork came back positive for FIV. A cat with FIV can lead a very full life in an indoor home. Petey could be an only cat, live with other FIV cats, or be integrated with other cats as long as there is no fighting (FIV is spread through a deep bite). We recommend all cats receive yearly wellness checks, but it is even more important for an FIV cat as their immune system does not work as well due to the FIV. Petey turned 1 yr old this month and is looking for a family to love.
