Peter's Story

Peter - came to us in December of 2016 along with 3 siblings at just a few weeks old. All of his siblings have since been adopted and Peter still remains at our shelter, to no fault of his own. Over the years Peter became shy and scared of human touch however, recently our volunteers have been spending more time with him to help him adjust in hopes of finding him a forever home. Peter has become a completely different cat. He will come when called and does enjoy pets on his terms. He will sit on the arm of your chair with you and snuggle. He can be very skittish at times and will take time to get used to a new environment. Peter would do best as an only cat. He does tolerate others however, Peter's personality is very dominant and can be a bully. With a little love and a lot of patience, Peter would thrive in his forever home. If you feel you could give Peter chance at a new life, please reach out and we can share videos of how loving he can truly be.

His family of four was rescued by one of our dedicated volunteers who saw a free kitten sign at the home of an elderly couple. She made sure they got the mom fixed and the shelter took the kittens. His siblings have been adopted, but he is still here.
Born 11/1/16. neutered, FeLV and FIV neg., up to date on shots, microchipped.

Adoption hours: Saturdays 12-4 PM. Other days by appointment.
Contact: 610-760-9009 press line#2; submit online application at: www.forgottenfelines.org [12/28/24}
