Pete's Story

Pete’s story is one of resilience and a second chance. He was found living outside as a stray, and his caretaker noticed something wasn’t right—he was moving slowly in the cold and clearly not feeling well. When Pete finally received medical care, it was discovered that he was severely anemic from fleas and suffering from a painful abscess. Despite all of this, Pete remained gentle and trusting. With medical treatment and love, he made a wonderful recovery.

Now approximately 13 years old, Pete is healthy and ready for the life he always deserved. He is a large cat, about 12 pounds. He gets along well with other cats and is incredibly sweet and easy to handle. He has a calm, laid-back nature that makes him a joy to be around. He’s sweet without being demanding, content just to share space with his people. Pete adjusts easily to change, doesn’t cause a fuss and is amazing at the vet.

More than anything, Pete just wants to be around people—sharing space and enjoying the warmth of a safe home.

Adoption application - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1zutAAXKUxzuGS1__rLtk3QirVzWaXCsvjSUl7dTYs_Y/edit
