Petal's Story

Meet Petal!<br/><br/>Petal is a 2 month old, female, DSH. She has also received her first round of vaccines and deworming. <br/><br/>We're still getting to know Petal so we aren't quite sure of what her personality is like just yet. But, we do believe that Petal would like to find a home with another kitty friend to keep her company! Petal is quite timid and currently only really likes to hang out and cuddle with the other kitties here. She knows she's timid and that people will look away cause she doesn't come straight for cuddles and pets, but even though she's only 2 months old shes been through a lot. She's hoping you'll have the time and patience to help her come out of her shell and flower into her amazing personality!

Bonnyville District SPCA's Adoption Policy

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered (if under the age of 6 months a certificate will be given to get it done at 6 months old), 1 st set of vaccinations, dewormed and had their ears cleaned ( if needed). Adopters will also go home with complimentary 30 day health insurance, some small starter bags of food and a free vet wellness exam ( for Bonnyville or Cold Lake vet clinic only). You can find our applications at www.bonnyvillespca.com Adopters must fill out an adoption application and have it approved. Approval does not always happen the same day, so if you are coming from out of town make sure you get the application approved before making the drive. To hold an animal for longer then 1 day, we do need the full adoption fee paid in full to be able to hold the animal for you. We do not deliver animals, adopters must come in person to meet the animal of your choice. We work closely with the Pet Valu store in Bonnyville, and many times one of our adoptable cats is hanging out at the store. Pet Valu has our applications on hand if our shelter is closed. If you aren't looking to adopt, there are many other ways to get involved. Volunteer, donate, become a foster parent. We hope to hear from you soon!
