Meet Pesto, a charming 3-year-old male brown tabby domestic shorthair. Pesto’s journey began in South Orange, New Jersey, where he was found in a cardboard box with a litter of kittens. While the kittens were taken, Pesto was left behind. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan found him and brought him to us at Simba’s three weeks ago.<br/><br/>Since then, Pesto has been thriving in our care. He’s doing wonderfully in the Simba socialization program and has finally realized he is safe. Pesto is now a happy and affectionate cat, ready to find his forever home. Potential adopters may visit our website to complete our adoption application, which our team will review. Their application is either denied or accepted. We then ask to complete a home visit and have the potential adopter and family come to meet the cat to ensure they are a good fit. Once the paperwork is completed, the cat can go home with its forever family. Simba's Sanctuary elects to contact the family after the adoption to check on how the cat is adjusting.
