Persimmons's Story
Persimmons, and her sibling Apricot came to Fieldhaven after multiple kittens had been spotted at the Dixon Fruit Stand by a concerned good Samaritan. Both teenagers were brought into our clinic to be spayed/neutered and then the plan was to release them back to the colony at the Fruit Stand after they recovered. Of course, the kitties had other plans! When observed, both kitties showed signs of having social skills so the decision was made to place them into a foster home to continue to help them warm up to us humans! Persimmons is cautious and shy. She does not like to be picked up or placed on a lap. She needs space to hunker down until she feels comfortable and grows more confident. The best way to get her attention is playing, especially string toys. She can't resist taking a swipe or two! She gets along well with other cats, especially her big brother Apricot who she loves to snuggle with. Due to her shy nature, she would do best in a calm, quiet environment with a mature family who understands how to continue with her socialization. Persimmons is ready for a warm, loving, safe forever home!!!

Adoption Fee: $125.00 or 2 kittens for $200.00
