Perry's Story

Meet PERRY. PERRY is a gentle, moderately shy older fellow who we estimate to be around 8 years old. PERRY is short-haired with a fancy tuxedo coat. His shiny black fur is offset by the patches of white that are on his face, chin, chest and paws.

PERRY is a kitty that a kind person had been seeing and feeding in the neighborhood on and off for almost 6 months. The feeder said that at first, PERRY was very skittish and would run when he would see her. But as time went on, she won him over and gained his trust to the point where she could get near him and even pet him. The feeder said she knew this mature boy was worthy of more than she could provide. Upon arrival, PERRY was calm and a little unsure. However, he was very receptive to human touch. PERRY enjoys being pet, taking yummy squeeze up treats from your hand, and head scritches. With each day that goes by, PERRY gains a bit more confidence with his surroundings and his comfortability levels within the shelter environment have immensely improved. PERRY is a gentle giant. He belongs cozying up next to his human on the couch well into his golden years. PERRY does have dental issues that will need to be addressed in order to keep him healthy and happy. PERRY is a mild-mannered, calm and polite type of gentleman. PERRY certainly deserves all the love, attention, affection and comforts of a forever home to call his very own.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, Flea prevention applied and Microchipped.

If you'd like to meet PERRY, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
