He is a definite lap cat and just wants to be on your lap all the time. He loves to be held and talked to. He is very calm and gentle, and he gets along great with all the other cats and kittens he is being fostered with. He is good with dogs and kids too. Just an all around great guy! He has long hair that is very soft. You can often find him lounging all cuddled up in one of the cozy cat beds. Someone threw him outside to fend for himself through this harsh winter. (We included a picture of him in the snow). We agreed to take him in, and he is clearly so grateful to be an inside cat again and be warm and fed! He is perfect with the litter box and does not scratch anything he shouldn't. He has very good house manners! We just love Pepsi, and we know you will too! If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care. *Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *<br/><br/>DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:<br/>Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
