Peppermint Bark's Story

Meet Peppermint Bark!
Named for his adorable striped pattern and sweet personality, Peppermint Bark is a gentle, cuddly kitten with the cutest little face. He's a total lap cat-the kind who quietly hops up, settles in, and starts purring while you pet him. He loves being held and will melt right into your arms like a baby.
Peppermint Bark has a playful side too, especially when spring toys and balls are involved! He's not wild or chaotic, though. He has a wonderfully easygoing personality and is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and calm.
There's something especially sweet about Peppermint Bark. He brings a warm, gentle energy wherever he goes and has a way of making you feel chosen every time he sneaks into your lap for a cuddle.
Peppermint Bark is very social and would do best with another kitten as a companion, such as one of his siblings: Domingo Ghirardelli, Chip, Cookies N Cream, Sundae, or Nibs.

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy
CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens). Kitty Corner is open for adoptions on Saturday, Sunday & Mo
