Peppermint's Story
Peppermint was picked up from a car service garage in the Bronx. She is roughly 10 months old and sweet as can be, purring in our arms like a happy hot water bottle from the first meeting! Although her reflective pitch-black fur and neon green eyes make her difficult to photograph, she is a beauty with Anya Taylor-Joy vibes and cute little sable ears. She will very much be like your 4-year-old gifted child, very intelligent and understanding what you say for the most part. She is very social and loves to meet new people, allowing gentle pets and being picked up immediately! You will need to make sure you keep your dirty plates out of her reach (cats can easily jump onto countertops) because she will want to try mom + dad's food, but people foods like salt, garlic, and onions are particularly harmful to cats. Still, if you bring some yummy food home, she will perk up from her napping spot and ask you to share. She is allergic to chicken, so her diet can consist of turkey, duck, and seafood. She loves a treat of frozen/thawed cooked+peeled shrimp! Peppermint also likes napping under our desk chair and gently nibbling on our toes when she would like our attention. This little goof has a hardcore style of playing and loves to run, then likes to sleep in high places at time-out. Although very happy to be with people, Peppermint is slow to warm up to new pets and will require gentle introductions. Currently she navigates her foster home of 10+ cats like it's no big deal, but to reach this harmony in a new home will require an experienced adopter. Please welcome this entertaining charmer into your home!

Peppermint is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and Felv/FIV negative!
