Peppercorn's Story

When winter turned harsh and food grew scarce, a brave little cat made a life-changing decision. Peppercorn (aka Pepper) followed a kind stranger home, meowing for help. Hungry, cold, and pregnant, she knew she needed to be saved, and she chose the right humans.

Peppercorn is about 3 years old, and despite everything she’s been through, she radiates affection. In her foster home, she immediately began purring, relaxing, and showing her gentle, grateful personality. Her foster says she’s “just such a sweetheart,” and it’s clear she has so much love left to give.

Peppercorn would thrive in a home that appreciates a calm, tender companion who wants nothing more than safety, warmth, and affection. She’s resilient, loving, and ready for her next chapter.

We think Peppercorn would thrive as the only cat in the home, as she can get a bit uneasy when she picks up the scent of other cats. She’s doing wonderfully in her foster home, though she can be a little enthusiastic at mealtimes, so she’d do best in a home with older children/no children.

Peppercorn is fully vetted except her microchip, which she'll get shortly!

Submit an application at our website: https://www.findyourcatpanion.org/our-adoptables/adopt-a-cat
or contact us to learn more adopt@findyourcatpanion.org

Purrfect Catpanion's Adoption Policy
We are very happy to help you find your next catpanion, please fill out our adoption application below to get started. The next step in the process will be a home visit or a video call, during which we will be looking to assess if the environment is safe to receive a cat. Some things we are looking for: - Windows in every room are secured to prevent the cats escaping. - Is the home ready to receive the kitty: litter box, food & water bowl areas, cat food available, etc. - Are there other pets that could potentially cause harm to the kitty? If other pets are present, they must all be fully vetted (Spayed/Neutered and Vaccinations up-to-date) This is not a 1-step process, we want to make sure the adoption is a purrfect match for everyone involved. All adoptions will incur an adoption fee: $200-$250 Your fee covers all vetting: Vaccinations, Deworming, Flea treatments, Neuter/Spaying, microchipping, etc.
