Pepper Courtesy Listing's Story
Contact Information
Liz – 989-646-0402

Pet Name: Pepper
Age: 8 years old
Weight: Approximately 15–20 lbs
Status: Neutered

About Pepper:
Pepper has been part of Liz’s family since 2018. He originally came from a litter of kittens whose stray mother was tragically hit by a car, and Liz stepped in to help by taking the kittens in and giving them a safe place to grow up. Pepper stayed and has been a beloved companion ever since.

Pepper is a very affectionate cat who enjoys being pet and spending time with his people. He also has a playful side and still enjoys engaging in play and interaction. He has lived indoors his entire life and has not been exposed to outdoor animals.

Pepper can be a bit shy and tends to get nervous around children and dogs. When he feels uncomfortable, he usually chooses to run and hide rather than interact. Because of this, he would likely do best in a quieter home environment.

Pepper is mostly litter box trained but has occasionally urinated on soft items left on the floor, such as clothing, blankets, or towels. When this behavior first appeared, he was evaluated by a veterinarian and did not have a UTI. At the time it was thought to be stress-related due to a recent move. If there are no items left on the floor, he can go long periods—sometimes months—without any issues.

Pepper would likely thrive with a patient adopter who can provide a calm home and continue helping him feel secure and comfortable. He is a loving cat who enjoys attention and companionship.

Courtesy Listing Notice: This animal is not in the care or custody of the Humane Society.
