**Currently in foster care. Meet Pepper! <br/>Pepper is a 5-month-old spayed female kitten who has come a long way in foster care. When she first arrived, she was feisty and unsure, but with time and patience she’s been learning that people are safe — and her confidence continues to grow. Pepper enjoys playtime, especially interactive toys, and will happily weave figure-8s around your feet when food is involved. She’s not a lap cat, but she does enjoy affection on her own terms and is a fun, engaging companion for someone who appreciates a kitten with personality.<br/><br/>Pepper does well with older cats, has experience around house bunnies, and tolerates a 4-year-old human like a champ.
