Pepper's Story

Pepper was rescued with her siblings off the streets as kittens, and although they're still a little nervous about humans, they've been making steady progress opening up here at Animal Haven. Pepper is shy and fearful, but seems curious about humans so we're hopeful that a little extra attention will help her build confidence around humans and come out of her shell.

Sadly, Pepper's sister Panda is FIV+. FIV is only contagious to other cats (not humans or dogs) and generally through deep bite wounds. For now, Panda and Pepper are staying together since they get along well and we don't forsee fighting in their future. We are open to adopting them out together but know it may be a big ask to take on two very shy cats.

If you're up for a bit of a challenge, you can meet Pepper and Panda at Animal Haven!
