Pepper's Story

Pepper is a very special lady in search of her furever family! Pepper was found outside as a small kitten with no use of her back legs at all. Upon vet visit, she was found to have a spinal fracture. Fortunately, her fracture healed and the use of her legs has fully returned! However, she does remain incontinent, both urine and fecal incontinence. She is a wonderful, brave little lady who endured a lot at a very young age.

We don’t know how she was injured, but we do know she’s loving every minute of life now! She wears a diaper well, and even has a little suit to help the diaper stay on. She requires daily care and continued veterinary care to monitor for changes and bladder issues. She is on a prescription diet to help her regulate her stool and she has a lotion to help with urine and fecal scald.

Pepper would love an adopter or furever foster who is familiar with incontinence and has a place where she can be diaper free, whether it’s a room or small space just for her. She does great with other kitties and loved playing with her foster sister Clover. She is used to being in a house with small dogs but keeps her distance.

Caring for a special needs cat can be a bonding experience like no other. You will have the opportunity to build a deep and meaningful relationship with Pepper, and the love and loyalty she shows you will be unmatched.

Please reach out to discuss further if you think you can make room in your heart and home for this little girl!
Nepapetfundapps@gmail.com
