Pepper 8's Story
Pepper is very sweet and loves to snuggle. She also loves to play with her toys and is just an all around great cat!

What a potential adopter needs to know is that Pepper was diagnosed with a peritoneal pericardial diaphragmatic hernia (PPDH) as a kitten. A PPDH is an abnormal opening between the pericardial sac and the peritoneal (abdominal) cavity. After a consult with the Auburn veterinary school it was decided to not pursue surgery as they discovered that Pepper also had a heart defect, namely a malformation of one side of the heart. So what does all this mean? It means that Pepper is a strong girl who does not know the meaning of the word quit. She is thriving on a minor regimen of medication to help control any ill effects of the heart malformation. She gets her meds in a treat so loves taking them! We believe Pepper deserves every chance at a happy home! If you are interested in Pepper 8 we can talk to you about her medication and cost etc.Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and Rescue
Hoover, AL 35226
205-302-8883
