ABOUT PEPPER! Meet Pepper, our refined older gentleman! This classy guy was brought in to HAP after his owner had to move. This was a really big change, having gone from being a pampered house cat to an orphan in a shelter, so he took his time settling in. Now, he's a super sweet man, who enjoys the quiet life! He loves to take many cat naps on any comfy surface. He has an ornery streak, as many old men do! *Pepper gets along with other cats, but he does like to lovingly bully them, so he will need to live with very tolerant cats. He has never lived with dogs, so we don't know how he'd do with them. He doesn't like children. *If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
