Pepper's Story

Pepper is a laid-back, lovable boy who just wants a peaceful home to call his own. He adores being held, snuggling up against your face, and will happily come when you call his name. Loud noises don't faze him-he's all about calm vibes, cozy naps, and soaking up the sunshine. Pepper was surrendered after being picked on by other cats, so he'd do best as a solo kitty or with very gentle companions. He has HPV and calicivirus, which are manageable with antibiotics during occasional flare-ups. This sweet, gentle guy is ready to give his heart to someone who can give him the quiet, loving home he deserves. HPV (Feline Herpesvirus) and Calicivirus are common viral infections that affect a cat's respiratory system. They can cause symptoms like sneezing, eye and nose discharge, and mouth sores. While these viruses can't be cured, they are manageable with proper care, including antibiotics during flare-ups, supportive treatments, and a stress-free environment. With the right care, cats with these viruses can live happy, comfortable lives.

Pepper is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, routinely treated for fleas and worms, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm. His estimated DOB is 6/15/2019.

NOTE: Kittens under 4 months cannot be adopted as a single kitten unless there is already another cat in the home.

All cats/kittens come with 30 days of free post-adoption support to Petcademy's team of trainers and behaviorists, as well as access to online materials to help settle your new furbaby into your home.

Apply to adopt: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AAA/Cat

Alleycats & Aristocats's Adoption Policy
We screen applicants by checking at least 2 personal references and vet records/references. Application is provided via online Jotform. Renters will require authorization to make sure pets are permitted. Please allow our volunteers up to 48 hours to process all applications. To ensure healthy development, we do not adopt out single kittens under 4 months old unless there is already another cat in the home. Kittens learn essential behaviors from other felines, and early socialization reduces the risk of future behavioral issues.
