Pepe Le Pew's Story

With his striking black and white coat and the bold stripe running down his back, Pepe Le Pew is as charming as his name suggests. He was originally brought in for TNR after being found outside, but it quickly became clear he was not meant for street life. Pepe turned out to be a friendly and affectionate boy who clearly wanted a chance at indoor life.

Pepe came to us with a sternum fracture from his time outside, but he has proven to be a resilient little guy. Today he is all about enjoying the good life. He loves rolling around happily, chasing toys, purring away, and making biscuits on the nearest soft surface. He has a playful spirit and truly enjoys interacting with his people.

One of Pepe’s most special traits is how affectionate he is. This boy does not just want to sit near you. He wants to be close. Very close. If you are sitting or lying down, Pepe will happily curl up right next to your face so he can soak up all the love and attention he can get. He is a very cuddly cat who thrives on affection and companionship.

Pepe is also FIV positive. Many FIV positive cats live long, happy, completely normal lives with routine veterinary care, and they can safely live with other friendly cats since FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds. It does not slow Pepe down at all and he is a happy, active cat ready for a home.

Because Pepe has a big personality and communicates clearly, he would do best with someone who has had cats before and is comfortable reading feline body language. In the right home, he will reward his person with endless affection, entertainment, and those adorable biscuit making sessions.

If you are looking for a playful, affectionate companion who wants to be your constant cuddle buddy, Pepe Le Pew may be the perfect match. 🐾
