Penny

Meet Penny — A Little Cat with a HUGE Purr!

Penny is a beautiful, petite girl with the sweetest personality and the most incredible tail! At just a year and a half old, she’s still a young cat with so much love to give.

Penny is an absolute love bug. She has the biggest purr, adores attention, and especially loves being brushed. She would make a wonderful companion cat for someone looking for a loving little shadow to share their home and their heart.

And just look at that face and that tail!

Penny is FIV+, but that does not mean she can’t live a long, healthy and happy life. FIV-positive cats can absolutely live fulfilling lives, and they can live with other cats with appropriate introductions and consideration of each cat’s individual situation. Penny deserves the same chance at a loving forever home as any other cat.

She is currently being fostered in West Orange, NJ.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will happily keep you company—and fill your home with purrs—please consider opening your heart and home to Penny.

Penny is ready to be someone’s girl.

We strongly advise that no cat be placed in the company of children without supervision; nor should any cat or dog be put with a new pet without proper introduction and transition. It can be very traumatic for any pet to be incorrectly introduced to other unknown pets without proper separation and a slow, monitored introduction. We trust you will respect this recommendation and take all measures to carefully introduce a new pet to a resident pet.

The first step to the adoption process is to complete the adoption application. Follow directions below and complete all sections. Once reviewed, we will schedule a virtual interview and home visit. If you are approved, we will then arrange a meet and greet where you can spend time interacting with the cat. Submitting an interest inquiry through Petfinder without a completed application will delay the process.

Adoption application can be found on our website. Follow directions to submit.

www.companionanimalplacement.org

Cat Adoption Donation is
$200 per cat. We graciously accept more.

Includes:
Spay/neuter
Rabies vaccine
3 series of distemper vaccine
Testing FeLV (feline leukemia) and FIV (feline FIV)
Deworming (parasites)
Flea treatment
Rabies
Microchip
And anything else that is necessary!!

We are the only rescue group in the area that does this much medical with the lowest adoption fee.
