Penny (aka Princess Penelope)'s Story

*This is a courtesy posting, please note that Penny is not at the animal shelter. If you are interested in Penny, please email angela.kinn.ak@gmail.com*
Meet Penny, aka Princess Penelope! Penny is just two years young and looking for a loving home. Penny is shy at first with new people, but once she feels comfortable she is a very affectionate lap cat. Penny loves pets and loves to snuggle under a blanket on your lap. Penny enjoys little forays into the back yard where she can lay in the sun and roll around and watch birds. Penny loves to eat and will try to beg food from you if she can. Because she is treat motivated, she would probably be a great candidate for training, you could probably train her to jump through hoops for the right tasty treat! Penny would probably prefer to be an only cat because she has been bullied and traumatized by other cats in her previous home. Penny has not lived with dogs, but because she is sensitive to stress, she would do best in a home without a dog, unless they are really mellow and would leave her alone. Same for young children. Penny needs a low stress home where she can relax and be happy and enjoy all the love and cuddles with you, her best friend!
All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).

All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
