Penny's Story

Penny

1 year old Spayed Female
Tabby Short Hair

Penny was brought in from a feral colony at around 4 months old. She's not quite as snuggly as most other cats in the rescue due to her late socialization, but she does still like human company! She's just more of a passive companion who'd like to lay claim to the back of your couch while you watch TV, and have Her Spot on your bed at night. Not a cuddler, but definitely still good company. Penny gets along great with cats and dogs of all sizes, but would prefer kids be older and less rowdy/grabby. She's not afraid to set boundaries, and we don't think children under 10 are a good match for that.

You will likely not see Penny for the first week that she comes home. She will take a bit to adjust, but once she does, she'll be your little personal supervisor, critiquing your work from over your shoulder, and reminding you that dinner is late.

Penny would be a great match as a 'Companion Cat' for another feline in a home who's seeking a buddy.
