Penny's Story

Penny is a young female domestic shorthair with a beautiful shiny gray and white coat and the softest, most thoughtful presence. Penny is a gentle soul, shy, reserved, and very polite, who prefers to observe the world from a comfortable distance before deciding to join in. She is not one for loud chaos or large groups, but given a calm space and a patient heart, she truly shines.

Penny was adopted as a kitten and returned two years later through no fault of her own. The good news is that Penny acclimates well to new surroundings and people, is eating great, friendly, and having a lot of fun playing. She is incredibly sweet and very affectionate once she settles in. Once Penny feels safe, her affectionate side blossoms. She adores snuggles, makes excellent biscuits, and loves nothing more than curling up for quiet companionship. One of her favorite pastimes is gazing out the window, seemingly lost in deep, important thoughts about the world outside. She will also sweetly reach out a paw to ask for pets, a habit that perfectly captures her soft, endearing nature.

Penny would likely be perfectly happy as a single pet, soaking up all the love, but she could also do well with other cats or dogs with proper introductions. She would probably be just fine with older, respectful kids too. If you are looking for a tender, thoughtful companion who will love you quietly and deeply, Penny might just be your girl.

Penny is a female, gray and white Domestic Short Hair cat.
