Penny's Story

This sweet girl is a beautiful princess, and boy does she know it! She’s great with cats and acclimated well to living with 5 dogs, after she had some time to get to know them. She does well with older kids but hasn’t been around any younger children. Once shes comfortable with you, she enjoys pets, butt scratches, or a good chin rub. At only 2 years old, she’s got her whole life ahead of her and she just needs someone to give her a chance. Could she be your new best friend?

Our animals are all in foster homes, so we need to have you fill out an adoption application first and then we can talk about a meet and greet. Our meets are by appointment only unless we are having an adoption day.

The mission of the Bannock Humane Society is to foster animals until a suitable, permanent home can be found; reduce the number of unwanted animals through spay and neuter; provide emergency care for injured animals; and educate the public about being responsible pet owners.
