Penelope Grace's Story

Penelope is a very sweet 6 month old girl. She came to Cause for Paws with her brothers, V and NamJoon, when they were 14 weeks old. A person taking care of a cat colony realized they were social and needed homes. It will take Penelope a little time to settle in once she is in her new home but once she does she is very playful. Over the past few months, Penelope has become more confident and enjoys being pet and held by people. Her favorite toy is the kitty tease or better yet playing with one of her brothers. Penelope also does well with the others cats in her foster home. Once she feels safe she becomes a very curious kitten. After all the activity she will seek you out so she can take a nap by you. There are no dogs or children in her foster home so we are not sure how she will do in a home with children or dogs. She cannot go to a home with children under 6 years of age. Penelope would do best in a home with another young cat/kitten or one of her siblings. Cause For Paws Inc.'s Adoption Policy

The adoption fee for a Cause for Paws cat is $225. There is an adoption application that is completed and reviewed prior to the adoption. This application will ask for a veterinarian reference and we will check this reference prior to an adoption. The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.

Cause for Paws is a Minnesota nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization founded in 1998. It is a small all-volunteer group of friends who love cats and want to make a difference for cats in our community.
