Penelope

Hi! I'm Penelope (A.K.A Penny) and I'm 4 years old. I'm very sweet but am still adjusting to the shelter so you may hear me hiss at the other kitties around me. When I first came to the shelter, I was not happy and nobody could touch me. But as I slowly come out of my shell, I am showing more and more of just how sweet and loving I can be!! I will rub on staff's legs and seek out head pets. I do not like being picked up or put into carriers very much, so when taking me home it is expected I may regress a little bit. I need an experienced cat owner who will be patient with me as I adjust to a new home and a new life. I lived with another cat in my previous home but I don't seem to like them very much here. I have not been dog tested, but staff guesses I will not be a fan of them either. I could possibly live with older kids who will respect my boundaries and give me my space when I need it. Fill out an application to meet with me!
