PENDERWICK

Due to owner moving in with family and unable to have PENDERWICK in new place, her guardian had to surrender PENDERWICK to the shelter. <br/><br/>Her former guardian has told us PENDERWICK loves people and is affectionate. But she has not had much interaction with dogs or children. And she is so, so with other cats. PENDERWICK is a large girl, and still a young adult. She enjoys playing but is past the age of curtain climbing. She also enjoys long naps after short play time. She may do well with older children who do not expect her to be a playmate.<br/><br/>PENDERWICK does not have much interaction with the other cats in the room. Several of them are rather active youngsters and she would rather stay up out of the way of the chaos. She has gotten braver though and will come down for pets and will rub against you for attention. But when it gets to be too much, she goes up high again.<br/><br/>PENDERWICK deserves a second chance to find a forever home that is less noisy and active. She seems resigned to being one of the overlooked, shy kitties, but she is too young for her fate to be a shelter cat. PENDERWICK has known the safety and love of a home of her own.
