Peg & Patticake "Loving and Bonded Duo" Domestic Short Hair Houston, TX

We are Peg (brown tabby female) and Patticake (smokey gray tabby male) and we would love a caring home who wants 2 amazing kitties. We were strays together at an apartment complex just fending for ourselves. We learned by staying together it was nice having someone to be with. When our foster mom (who was at the apartment complex) would feed us we always arrived at the same time. We would jump over the fence to come and get the food. We always traveled together. Since we didn't have family we became each other's family! We even nap together. We were joined at the hip.

Once we got separated and Peg went missing for a few days. When she reappeared I didn't know what had happened to her. She was limping so badly. I found out later my friend Peg had a broken leg and needed to have it set with a pin. She had to be still and inside for 8 weeks. Peg found out how wonderful it is to be inside, to be warm and safe and get love. The abundance of all of that compared to her previous life made her joyful.

But I missed my friend - I was still outside. Our foster mom finally got me, Patticake, in a crate before a freeze and brought me inside. I was reunited with my bestie Peg. We quickly resumed our old affectionate ways and settled in happily into the comfortable inside life filled with lots of food and water, cozy surroundings, companionship and fun games. We love to be together and exude gratitude for our new life. We are usually so close our tails even touch. We constantly headbutt each other because we love each other so much.

Peg is completely healed now and recovered. Peg likes to nestle up again her foster mom and is learning it is ok to be picked up. Peg is playful and looks like a kitten when she plays. I, on the otherhand, am still a little nervous about close contact. I am a beautiful boy and very vocal. I know in time I will be better around humans because I trust Peg! I do love to play. If you want a pair to follow you and greet you every time you enter the room arrange to meet us. Just know I may take more patience than Peg but you will love having the LOVING Duo as part of your family!

Peg & Patticake are updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and ready for their indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.
