Peet's Story

Meet Peet! Peet came to us when her owner's housing situation became unstable. He was desperate and willing to do anything to find her a soft place to land. After meeting her, we totally get it - Peet is adorable, and as sweet as they come. She has a unique, round little face that we just can't resist. Pictures alone don't do her justice.

Peet is adorably playful. Any time we come near her kennel, she reaches out with both paws trying to bat at us. She likes to bring us closer for some play-bites and nibbles. If we dangle a toy in there with her, she goes crazy. When out with everyone, she zooms all over the center and has an absolute blast. She loves to climb and explore. She'll tolerate some gentle petting for a little bit, but then it's back to nomming on us. There's not a mean bone in her body, though, it's all love.

Because she is mouthy, we aren't sure if Peet would do well with small children. Older kids (10+) would be fine. She does okay with other cats with a slow introduction. She has not been tested with dogs.

Peet is estimated to be 8 months old as of February 2026. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. With an approved application, her adoption fee is $106.

If you are interested in adopting this particular dog or puppy, please see our Adoption Guidelines at http://www.humanesocietyall.com/applications/ .
