Peesha's Story

Beautiful, funny Peesha has been in foster care for over a year with her other siblings. In that time, she and her brother, Frex, have become a bonded pair. They are looking for a home TOGETHER.

Peesha is the softest, loveliest girl. She is all white except for a stripe on her head and around her tail. She loves to nap in the sunshine and snuggle under the blankets when it's cold out. She loves soft things and has been known to pet people back. She is usually the first one awake in the morning and often licks people's faces until they get up and make her breakfast. She knows what she wants and can be insistent about it, in a cute and bossy way. She is very clever and likes to get up to hijinks with her brother, Frex.

(Recent hijinks: Grabbed a bag of cat treats and saved it for later under a mountain of cat toys. Stole glasses and ponytail holder right off her foster mom's head as she slept. Learned how to open the interior sliding door and led a glorious parade of all the foster cats into the main part of the house, whereupon Frex liberated a rubber spatula from the kitchen.

She has expressed no remorse and we love her for it. (We think sassy cats are funny.)

Peesha and Frex have gotten to be pretty inseparable during their time in foster care. They have tried and failed adoptions because only one of them was adopted and they were each super lonesome for their buddy. It is best that they stay together. The two of them have spent most nights this winter sleeping all wound up together in their foster's lap and when they explore the whole house they tend to stick together to watch each others' backs.

Peesh and Frex currently live with two other siblings and three resident cats. Generally, they get along fine with other cats if introduced properly and given time to make friends. As they have become more and more bonded, they do tend to sneak up on other resident cats as a pair. They do it out of curiousity and playfulness, not aggression. But if you have a cat already who isn't a fan of being pestered and outnumbered, they will not be a good fit for your household. They need a place where they can have center stage.

Frex's page is here: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/frex-76ef1599-95a4-4c49-adaa-8374c3ebde96/nc/greensboro/triad-independent-cat-rescue-nc915/details/

Their foster is always happy to answer questions!

DOB: 12/01/2024

Her adoption fee includes spay surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, testing for FIV & FeLV, and any medications needed while in her foster home such as flea & tick prevention, dewormer, antibiotics, etc.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website, triadcat.org, and fill out an application.
