Pearl's Story
Domestic Shorthair — White with Black “Van Pattern” Markings

🌟 Pearl — The Brave Young Mama Who Deserves Her Fairytale Ending

Pearl’s story is one of courage and quiet strength. She was found in a dumpster with her newborn kittens, doing everything she could to keep them warm and safe until help arrived. Thanks to her love and determination, her babies are now healthy and adopted, and now it’s Pearl’s turn to be the one who is safe, loved, and cared for.

Pearl is just about a year old, with a sleek, silky white coat and the most unique markings, like she dipped her tail in soft gray paint and caught a few little splashes on her head. Her big, soulful eyes tell her story before she ever says a word.

At first, Pearl can be shy and skittish while she learns to trust, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into the sweetest, most loyal little companion. In her foster home, she loves curling up on the couch for naps and resting gently in her foster mom’s lap. She’s a soft-hearted, gentle girl who bonds deeply with her person and brings a peaceful, comforting presence to the home.

Pearl does well with gentle, respectful kids and may do well with other cats given slow, patient introductions, she currently seems most comfortable with calm male cats and is slowly warming up to the resident female cat. She could also live with a calm, low-energy dog who will give her space and time to adjust.

Pearl has already survived so much, now she just needs someone who will give her what she’s never had before: security, patience, and unconditional love. If you’ve been looking for a tender, trusting soul to share your quiet moments with… Pearl may be the one.

Adoption fee: $100, includes vaccines and spay.

If you’re interested in meeting or adopting Pearl, please fill out an application at
www.northmeckanimalrescue.org
