Pear's Story

Pear is a sweet and shy 5-6 month old female kitten that was originally brought in through our TNR program.<br/><br/>Pear is still a little wary of new friends, but luckily her hesitance only lasts about 3 seconds before she realizes humans can be pretty cool!<br/><br/>Pear loves gentle pets, and leans in for more once she trusts you. She came in with her buddy Apple (sitting next to her in the photo) and they would love to be adopted together!<br/><br/>Though shy, we know with a little patience and love, Pear will start to show us her sweet personality and truly shine once she's comfortable in her forever home. We're unsure how Pear does with dogs, but she gets along great with other friendly cats!

Bisbee Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We ask that you meet the animal in person to help ensure that it's a good match for both of you.  You will need to fill out an application, with at least 3 personal references and a vet reference.  We usually approve or deny the adoption within 24 to 48 hours. Our adoptions are not first come first served, but are based on what is the best fit for the animal and potential pet parent. We may receive multiple applications for the same animal. The adoption fee for cats over 1 year is $60 which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration. The adoption fee for kittens under 1 year is $75 which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration. The adoption fee for dogs over 1 year is $75 which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration. The adoption fee for puppies under 1 year is $100 which also includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration.
