Peanut (FKA Beast)'s Story
3 years old

Personality: calm, friendly, snuggly, talkative

Meet Peanut the green-eyed lover! He will use those beautiful eyes to stare into your soul from his spot next to you on the couch, where he will purr his way through the afternoon. Peanut is the king of chilling: unless he has the zoomies (happens to the best of us), you'll find him napping on the couch or flopped down for a chill sesh on the floor of whatever room you're in. And if you're busy doing chores around the house, you might find him following you from room to room - not to interfere, just to stay close!

Peanut loves scritches and will immediately flop over to give you better access to belly rubs. He's also happy to be picked up and hugged! When it comes to play time - one of his favorite activities after chilling - he enjoys string toys, balls, and anything he can chase and bat around. In his new home, Peanut would love to have a big scratching post where he can direct some of his energy. He'd also love a best friend for life - does that sound like you?

Apply to adopt Peanut today!

Follow Peanut's adventures on Instagram @bananafostersdc!

Peanut's rescue was made possible by Isaac and Danielle in honor of their beloved cat Steve Rogers.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats. To answer your questions about included vaccinations, spay/neuter, etc., the adoption process, and more please visit at www.citydogsrescuedc.org

If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, we are still accepting additional applications, as they sometimes fall through. If the animal is adopted by someone else, your application will be kept on file and you will not need to reapply for a different cat.
