Peanut's Story

This is Peanut.
Peanut was found behind a local bar and bistro. Bringing her into rescue was like an episode of Cheers- everyone knew her name. The regulars still ask about her as Peanut is a little socialite. She loves being around people and misses her active nightlife on the barscene. She is currently in her foster home going from room to room to visit all the family members. She demands to be involved in whatever you are doing- especially if you work from home.

Peanut finds places to nap. One of her favorite locations is a ceramic watermelon dish (on top of the keys we keep in there) or in the box the cans of cat food come in (while the cans are still in there) or on your lap while you’re typing away on your phone or laptop- which is probably the only normal place she lays her head.

Peanut loves to be held and carried around. She would love nothing more than making you into her personal jungle gym. Lucky for us she’s pocket-sized (hence the name). Peanut needs a lot of attention- she loves to play, run around, wrestle other cats/kittens and honk. Yeah.. she honks rather than meows, she’s working on it. Basically, she loves any kind of attention and affection.

Peanut loves to play- she loves the laser pointer and rattle mice and springs. She loooooves chasing springs. She will carry them around from room to room- when she’s not shoving them under the oven. She will even walk/run on the cat wheel- that’s if she’s not taking a nap on it.

Peanut is currently in her foster home with her foster sisters Willow, Chleo & Mango and foster brother Cubby located in Washington Township. Put in an application to meet her today!

Things Peanut likes: Pouncing on movement under the covers. Eating. Belly rubs. Being carried around. Chasing toys. Arguing about needing more Churu. Being tiny and running the show. Having the zoomies. Sleeping in strange places.
