Peanut's Story

Peanut is a classy, independent 6 year old lady who is perfectly content doing her own thing! She isn't interested in micromanaging your day or demanding constant attention - she prefers a peaceful environment where she can lounge, nap, and supervise from afar. Peanut prefers to be the solo cat ruler of her kingdom, and she would thrive in a calm, predictable environment without little ones running around. She has a few manageable medical needs that our team will happily discuss with you prior to adoption to ensure Peanut is the perfect fit for your home! At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer. For more information on adopting or to fill out an application, please visit our website: https://www.swh.org/adopt.html Anyone is welcome to visit our shelter during our adoption hours of Monday-Saturday, 12-6pm, or Sunday from 12-5pm, no appointment needed.
