Peanut's Story
Meet Peanut!

Peanut is a petite brown and ginger tabby who always makes time to study - she's a super smart, confident, observer of all things human. Her large golden eyes are always taking things in and making plans.

This five-month-old gal has a big purr and an adorable freckled belly. Not that you'll get many opportunities during the day to see it because she doesn’t always have much time for cuddling or being held—there are toys to hunt, places to explore, physics to figure out, and important, secret kitten investigations underway. But she's not a loner —she wants to be near the action and makes sure a lot of her adventures are in the same room as her people. She loves enrichment toys, puzzles, and being taught new things. When naptime or evening rolls around, that's when she wants to be cuddled up on your lap, right next to you on the couch, or snuggling with another cat friend in the window seat.

Peanut does well with dogs and kids, is great with other friendly cats, and is a good litterbox user. She needs another friendly cat to pal wrestle with. While she is not bonded with her brother Mac, the two are very good buddies and she dotes on him. They will thrive if they could continue their adventures together.

If you’re looking for a tiny, spirited sidekick with a big purr, an inquisitive mind, and absolutely no intention of getting anything but A's on her report card, Peanut would make a great partner.

All CCATS's adoptable cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for parasites.

Ready to add some purr-fection to your life? Apply at https://ccatsrescue.org/ and click on "Adoption Application".

Peanut can't wait to hear from you!

As each of the cats in our rescue are lovingly cared for in private foster homes, personal meet and greets are scheduled with a submitted application only, in an effort to be respectful of our foster families' time.

Many of our cats and kittens are also available to meet in person at our adoption events.
