Peanut's Story

“Peanut,” our beautiful girl , is trying her best to be patient as she waits for her special someone to come along , again . Peanut loves people and to be pet but she struggles occasionally with feeling overstimulated when pet and has swatted and bitten a couple of people who required urgent care visits and antibiotics . In fairness to Peanut , one bite occurred as she was being groomed to remove matts . She was taken into foster care several months ago and did so well with the family and their other pets , they proceeded to adopt her . Within weeks of adoption , Peanut realized she wasn’t terribly interested in having fur friends and started chasing, ambushing and terrifying the other pets into hiding .The family was heartbroken because they loved Peanut, but clearly she was stressed” . Now we know Peanut’s happiest home will have no other pets or children . Ideally her human will be cat savvy and in tune to subtle body language messages of discontent and give Peanut space. We know there’s a certain someone out there for her.
