I’m initially very shy, which is why my foster mom calls me “Peach”, “Sweet Peach”, or “Peaches O’Leary” – because I’m a bit “leery” at first. I prefer to take my time getting to know new people and new places, but once I feel safe, I transform into a sweet, attentive companion who loves to follow my foster mom around the house – especially if I think a cat treat may be involved! I do have a mischievous side, and in fact, my foster mom swears I have been known to swipe a turkey sandwich or two right from her plate! I categorically deny any such allegations of naughty behavior! I am cat-friendly, and get along with calm, respectful dogs, although I do like my personal space. I will thrive in a patient, loving home where I can open up at my own pace and show you just how special I am. Some of my favorite activities are meal times, napping in the sun, and watching the birds, squirrels and other wildlife through the windows. I was rescued from a trailer park along with my kitty family, and would like to be adopted together with one of my kittens. If you're looking for a sweet, kind-hearted feline friend who just needs a little time to shine, I might just be your perfect match! Cause For Paws Inc.'s Adoption Policy

The adoption fee for a Cause for Paws cat is $225. There is an adoption application that is completed and reviewed prior to the adoption. This application will ask for a veterinarian reference and we will check this reference prior to an adoption. The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.
