Pea is estimated to be 2-3 years old, and, in this short time, has had a very difficult life. She came to us only 5 pounds, flea-infested, and terrified. She took months to realize that we wouldn’t hurt her, so spent most of her early days at the rescue hiding. We know she’s been significantly neglected and likely abused because of her x-rays. Pea has a misshapen tailbone, luxated patella, and a torn ACL. All of these injuries have led to a limp when she walks, but she is not in any pain. She jumps around, runs, and plays like a normal cat.
