Paxton's story is heartbreaking. He was surrendered to Walton County, and when we first met him, he was so scared and shaking that we knew his future would be bleak. Thankfully, he was rescued just in time. <br/>Paxton is a gentle soul who loves belly rubs, sleeping under the covers and gazing out the window. His purr is big, but his heart is still healing. We believe he was overcorrected, possibly abused for natural behavior, leaving him timid and in need of a patient, loving home. <br/>Paxton will thrive as an only cat, where he can feel safe and loved. He is not a wild kitten that climbs curtains-he's the perfect calm housecat for someone wanting quiet companionship and a best friend by their side.
