Pawtucket's Story
Meet Pawtucket, a sweet, shy, and very pretty one-year-old girl who is looking for a gentle home where she can feel safe and loved. She has a quiet nature and has never shown a hint of aggression—she’s simply a sensitive soul who takes time to trust.

At some point in her young life, Pawtucket lost part of one of her legs. We don’t know what happened to her while she was surviving on the streets, but the injury has healed. Still, it may leave her feeling a bit vulnerable, which makes her cautious in new situations.

Pawtucket will thrive in a calm, quiet home with an older chill and confident cat, or as the only pet, and without young children. She will also require an experienced and patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. With kindness, consistency, and lots of gentle reassurance, we know she will slowly blossom and show her loving side.

This brave girl has already overcome so much. Now she just needs someone willing to give her the time, patience, and love she deserves so she can finally feel safe.

Interested in adopting Pawtucket? Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!

The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats.
