Pawl's Story
Pawl is a truly wonderful and gentle 3.5-year-old tabby boy who is patiently waiting for a quiet, loving forever home. While he may be shy when first meeting new people, he possesses a deeply tender spirit that is just waiting to be uncovered. Pawl is a soul who thrives on connection and truly craves interaction--he even communicates with the most adorable, soft "cooing" noises when he's happy! Once you gain his trust, he transforms into the ultimate "velcro" companion, showering you with love through sweet head butts and rubs against your legs. He is a gentle, comforting presence who will happily sit by your side and even sleep next to you at night. He doesn't just want a house; he wants a best friend to spend the day with. He would do best in a home with another friendly, low-key cat who is looking for a buddy to bond with--Pawl is a master of "cat etiquette" and often expresses his love through comforting grooming sessions. However, we will gladly consider placing him as an only cat if his human is home most of the time to keep him company and listen to his sweet coos. To ensure he thrives, Pawl is searching for a calm environment with no dogs; any children in the home should be over 8 years old and able to provide a gentle, patient approach. To help him transition smoothly, Pawl will need a private "sanctuary room" for at least a couple of weeks where he can feel secure. This initial space is crucial for building trust, and it is essential that his adopter spends plenty of quiet time with him there. Regarding his health, Pawl has a very manageable, chronic ear condition called ceruminous gland hyperplasia. This requires simple ear drops three times a week to keep his ears healthy and comfortable. The drops are very affordable (about $25/mo for a bottle) and easy to administer. To set his new family up for success, Caring for Cats will pay for an initial educational follow-up session with his specialist so you can feel fully confident in his care. You can make an appointment online to come in and meet this sweet boy! Pawl's adoption fee is $225.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
