Pawl's Story
Pawl is a truly wonderful, gentle tabby boy, about 3 years old, who is patiently waiting for his quiet, loving forever home. When first meeting new people or encountering new surroundings, Pawl can be shy, but that sweet, affectionate heart is just waiting to be uncovered! He is searching for a calm environment, which means no dogs, and any children in the home must be over 8 years old and able to consistently give him space and be gentle. To help him transition, Pawl will need a private "sanctuary room" for at least a couple of weeks where he can feel secure. This initial space is crucial, and it's essential that his adopter spends a lot of quiet time with him there, allowing him to build trust at his own pace. Once you gain Pawl's trust, he transforms into your loyal best buddy, showering you with love through sweet head butts and rubs against your legs. He is a gentle presence who will happily sit by you and even sleep next to you at night. Pawl adores other cats and would do very well with a friendly feline companion; he often gives his buddies head butts and comforting grooming sessions! Pawl has a manageable, chronic ear condition called ceruminous gland hyperplasia requiring simple ear drops three times a week to keep his ears healthy, clear, and comfortable. The drops are very affordable (about $25 per bottle, which lasts over a month) and are easy to administer. To set his new family up for success, Caring for Cats will pay for an initial educational follow-up session with his specialist so you can feel fully confident in his care. With a little extra love, a consistent routine, and some patience, Pawl will truly thrive and become the most affectionate member of your family. You can make an appointment online to come in and meet him! Pawl's adoption fee is $225.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
